DT Communications is proud to be appointed as the primary public relations agency responsible for the upcoming opening of the City Gallery at the City Hall Annex Building.
The objectives of establishing a permanent gallery are: to showcase Hong Kong’s major planning proposals and infrastructure projects; to manifest the vision of Hong Kong’s future development outlook; to provide a convenient venue for the Government to hold a variety of exhibitions, meetings, and public consultation forums on planning and infrastructure development proposals. DT will be exploring various opportunities to work with the City Hall Management and other agencies such as Brand Hong Kong in promoting the opening of the City Gallery locally and possibly extending the promotion internationally.

Out of a competitive pool of agencies, DT Communications was appointed as primary PR agency responsible for the upcoming 2012 Hong Kong Design Year (HKDY), recently announced by Chief Executive Donald Tsang in his Policy Address. This yearlong initiative serves to advocate and promote the rise of design in Hong Kong by offering over thirty plus exclusive design-related activities throughout the year of 2012.
DT Communications will be implementing a specifically tailored and well-rounded PR strategy through the use of various social and inventive marketing tools, not only to target Hong Kong’s wide-scale community, but also to make Hong Kong design known to the rest of the world. Hong Kong’s community will include the general public with a special focus on Hong Kong youth, business, design and other industry professionals, as well as incoming tourists. DT Communications will be working along the side of supporting organizations such as the HKSAR government, design related associations, local universities, business and professional organizations as well as the global community.

The Hong Kong Design Centre chose DT Communications out of a rich pool of PR agencies to promote and endorse the Business of Design Week (BODW) this year. The global campaign encourages businesses to unleash the power of design by focusing on its vital relationship and complex connection between design and business. This year, Asia’s leading design event, 28th November – 3rd December, will be pairing up with Germany as their partner nation and consist of exhibitions and forums with some of the world’s most respected designers.
With this campaign, DT Communications implements an ambitious international strategy targeting audiences across different countries worldwide through the uses of social media and innovative marketing tools. DT Communications’ extensive campaign fosters Hong Kong’s transformation into an integral business platform, allowing Europe’s engineering talents to connect with Asia’s best creative minds for a brighter economic future.
DT Communications was honored to have attended the Think Asia, Think Hong Kong symposium in London. This symposium served to promote Hong Kong as a city that welcomes business opportunities and acts as a gateway for European enterprises to enter the China Asia market. Due to previous experiences with worldwide campaigns such as being the only local PR agency to have worked with the Shanghai Expo 2010, DT Communications was honored to have represented Hong Kong as its sole PR and Marketing agency. Some of the sponsors included the Hong Kong Tourism Board and the British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong SAR Buildings Department has chosen DT to be its PR consultant for the Public Education and Publicity Programmes. This is a one yearlong campaign that serves to educate the general public through various promotional strategies. The goal of this campaign will be to raise awareness regarding building safety and cultivate a building safety culture, in which DT will be organizing numerous campaigns and publicity activities to help spread awareness to Hong Kong’s community. This will include a wide range of target audience consisting from real estates developers to students of all ages. By having the community participate in numerous educational activities, Hong Kong will indeed create a building safe environment.
