One of the winning entries displayed an outstanding use of local media channels and the idea was adapted by DT in its Expo survey research using Baidu. iDT’s sophisticated system successfully assists DEVNET
On October 22nd, DT’s subsidiary iDT held a press event at the DEVNET Pavilion at Shanghai Expo, which was attended by reporters and editors from the region’s top print and online publications. The focus of the media reports was on iDT’s proprietary system which new technology can not only track and monitor, but accurately analyze online data.
The panelists at the conference were International Director General of DEVNET, Mr. Daniel Barrios, DT’s General Manager Ms. Alice Fok and iDT Director Mr. Gary Tong. Ms. Fok expressed excitement to be working with DEVNET, especially since the association greatly values the benefit of digital technology, and is dedicated to spreading the message of information technology in Asia.
The two organizations’ appreciation was mutual, with Mr. Barrios saying that he looked forward to future collaboration with DT, and praised iDT’s tracking and analyzing system for a job well done supporting the judges at the Digital Media Merit Awards Asia 2010.

DT’s original and innovative online marketing tool, iDT, was named Innovative Entrepreneur 2009. General Manager Ms. Alice Fok said that the award not only reiterated the success of DT’s marketing strategies, but sets DT as leading the charge for Hong Kong’s PR firms.
Ms. Fok said that with the company’s account win for the 2010 Shanghai Expo, the company plans to use the grand stage to showcase the creative spirit of Hong Kong companies such as itself, and thanked everyone who supported DT, helping it to win the Innovative Entrepreneur Award.

As a young female entrepreneur with much success, you wouldn’t expect DT’s General Manager Ms. Alice Fok to be as down-to-earth and approachable as she truly is. Her company is the only Hong Kong-based firm at the Expo. She admits that the 184-day Expo will be a challenge, but it is one that she is confident that her team can succeed in with tremendous hard work and dedication.
