Out of a competitive pool of agencies, DT Communications was appointed as primary PR agency responsible for the upcoming 2012 Hong Kong Design Year (HKDY), recently announced by Chief Executive Donald Tsang in his Policy Address. This yearlong initiative serves to advocate and promote the rise of design in Hong Kong by offering over thirty plus exclusive design-related activities throughout the year of 2012.
DT Communications will be implementing a specifically tailored and well-rounded PR strategy through the use of various social and inventive marketing tools, not only to target Hong Kong’s wide-scale community, but also to make Hong Kong design known to the rest of the world. Hong Kong’s community will include the general public with a special focus on Hong Kong youth, business, design and other industry professionals, as well as incoming tourists. DT Communications will be working along the side of supporting organizations such as the HKSAR government, design related associations, local universities, business and professional organizations as well as the global community.
