5000 applicants compete for 1000 jobs
The HKIM Career Expo attracted 5000 hopefuls, looking for full-time and part-time jobs. The expo had 1000 job openings in sectors like insurance, public relations and finance, and for companies like AIA and DT Asia.

實習記者陳倩瑩報道:6、7月乃中五、中七生放榜,及大學生畢業的黃金時機,但在金融海嘯衝擊下,不少畢業生都擔心畢業後成為失業大軍,前路茫茫。香港市務學會於昨日起一連2天,於九龍塘創新中心舉辦「招『才』群英會———HKIM招聘及教育博覽」,提供1000多份全職、兼職予各求職人士,昨日吸引了約5000人入場。
活動的職業參展商包括美國友邦保險、富成集團、加州紅集團、殿堂公共關係顧問集團有限公司等,招聘行業包括市務、商業、金融、行政、銷售等,不少參展商更提供即時面試機會;場內亦有教育參展商如香港專業進修學校、香港財務策劃師協會等,提供進修機會。
